Ballynacargy Juvenile Notes
May 19, 2013
Under 8
The under 8 side made the journey to Tubberclair last Saturday for the latest blitz and came away with three fantastic results over the morning. Well done to all concerned especially the players and parents. We need to keep at this level of performance for the rest of the year. Martin and Barry are delighted with the progress this team has made in recent weeks. Details of training will be circulated early in week.
Under 10
Our Under 10 side had a mixed week on the playing front with the away game with Multy deferred after torrential rain in the hours beforehand. On Thursday we survived a monsoon to manage two games with Athlone on a soaking pitch. Despite the conditions the players performed exceptionally well coming up just short in the two games. ThisTuesday the 21st May sees us play Inny Shamrocks at home at 7.15pm. Be at venue from 6.45pm on please. The following week we are away to Miltownpass on the 28th May and also away to Moate on the 31st May at times to be confirmed.
Under 12
Finally our under 12 team made their season start with an away game in Tyrellspass last wednesday and despite a spirited showing we were outdone after a strong second half from the home team. We are short some numbers for this side and would appeal to everyone to give the commitment now that the summer is upon us and the others activities are having their break. Our next game is on Wednesday the 29th May at home to Inny Shamrocks.
Under 14
There has been no games this past forthnight but it will be all systems go from this week coming as we have four games to fit in during the run up to the Exams. Details will be sent by text this week. Please make every effort to attend.
