U20s Quarter Final Result Castledaly/Rosemount 4-5 Coralstown/Kinnegad 2-9

Castledaly Rosemount Under 20s combination proved too strong in a squad performance of support play and strong defending to overcome a competitive Coralstown Kinnegad on Saturday afternoon at St Kieran’s Park.
The foundation of their victory was built on three first half goals from Kevin Stone (2) and Daniel Heavin , and Ben Cox’s free kicking accuracy, giving a half time score line of 3-4 to 2-5.  Ben Cox added a fourth goal near the games end, but it was high class defending throughout the field that stood strong against the strong resurgence from the opposition in red.

This win places Castledaly/Rosemount into the semi-final next Sunday morning away against The Downs,
