U20 Championship Quarter Final: Rosemount / Castledaly took on Coralstown Kinnegad last Saturday evening in the U20 championship quarter final. On a wet and bitterly cold day , both sides served an entertaining encounter with very little separating the sides. We got scores early on from Kevin Stone , and Ben Cox , but with that Kinnegad responded strongly with a goal of there own and a few points. The game entered the second half with both sides level and the game there for the taking. A soccer style Finish by Ben Cox got us in front and we never looked back , closing out the game. Some gallant defending by the lads kept the Kinnegad attack at bay and with that the final whistle went. After a battling performance we came away with the win by two points. Well done to the lads, on a gutsy display in the end. We now play The Downs in the semi final. Final score: Rosemount/Castledaly 4:05, Coralstown/Kinnegad 2.09.

Rosemount Foroige club information night takes places Monday November 25th at 8pm in the hall. 

 

Walking track lights are now on nightly from 7pm until 10pm , Monday to Friday.
