St Malachy's club notes

November 11, 2019

Sympathies

The club extend their deepest sympathies to the Boyce Family, Ballinea, especially former player Joe Boyce, on the death of his brother Dan. Also, to Paddy Collins, former county secretary and his family on the death of Ann Collins during the week. For many years, before Westmeath got full-time administrative staff, Ann was the most courteous and helpful person, always answering a knock to the door or answering a telephone when clubs were in need of assistance. She will be sadly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam

Supporters Club

Congratulations to Pat Garvin on winning October’s Supporters Draw. Pat, a club legend, is always available at every beckon call to help out on whatever needs to be done and has served in every position in the club. A great example to all. We always wish to thank the supporters club who assisted Lilliput Gaels underage teams throughout the year and with refreshments for their end of year party.
