Condolences

Shandonagh GAA executive and members were saddened to learn of the deaths of Nell Moran, Killaroo, Streamstown, Co. Westmeath and Margaret Murray, Greenpark, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Nell is mother to Eddie Moran, a past executive committee member and grandmother to Damien Moran a member of our senior panel. Margaret is mother to Natasha Nagle, whose husband Derek and children Jenson, Danagh, Kelly & Caleb are all valued members of Shandonagh GAA. Sympathy is extended to both familes and friends of Nell and Margaret.

Back to the 80s Shandonagh Fundraiser
Shandonagh GAA Club are delighted to present their 'Back to the 80s' fundraiser in The Fence nightclub Mullingar on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 8 PM. A night of guaranteed fun and laughter, be sure to wear your best fancy dress. Tickets €10 each on sale from Smiddys Bar, Clarke's Bar and Ballinea Shop.

Mixed circuit training class at 7.30pm on Mondays.
Ladies circuit training on Wednesday at 7.30pm
Each class only €5 and all welcome both member and non-member. 

 

U17 Boys

Well done to the U17 boys squad who won a hard fought game against Tyrellspass on Saturday afternoon with a final Score of 3-12 to 2-10 after extra time.

 

U14 Girls
Our U14 Girls put in a super battling performance against very much fancied Garrycastle team in Garrycastle last Saturday morning. Down 3-4 to 1-1 after 20 mins, the girls rallied strong towards half time to a one point deficit 3-5 to 4-1. Garrycastle started strong in the second half, but the Shan Girls never wilted and battled to very end losing on a score line 4-13 to 5-2. Some noteworthy feedback from the Garrycastles coaches was that the Shandonagh girls were their biggest test this year, after winning most of the group games by +20 points. Well done to our U14 girls & coaches, super performances throughout the year, we are all so proud of you.
