Moate All Whites Club Notes

August 19, 2019

Intermediate Championship

Moate All Whites 4-14 Milltown 0-10

The lads delivered the performance they had been threatening for a while with a comprehensive victory over a team which had become a bit of a bogey for us over the last couple of years. They say goals win games and efforts from James Bracken,Ruairi Cunningham and John Corbally put daylight between the teams at half time on a score of 3-6 to 0-5.Another green flag from Ruairi halfway through the second half was more or less the end of the game and we saw the rest of it out comfortably. This was an all round excellent performance with every lad on the field put in their best effort individually and as a team and their reward is a quarter final in 3 weeks against Multyfarnham.Panel;Richie Price,Sean Bracken,Paul Gorman,Callum Jones,Gavin Murray,Andrew Gorman,Dylan Ennis,Eoghan Dalton(c),Ruairi Cunningham,Conor Sheridan,Ronan Conway,David Mullins,James Bracken,Robbie Forde,John Corbally,Conor Claffey,Jamie Madden,Fiachra Cunningham,Nicky Hamm,Garbhan Cunningham,Cathal O Brien

Minor Championship

Moate All Whites 1-12 Garrycastle 1-7

After a slow start the lads settled and played some really good stuff. They showed great composure in possession, real hunger out of possession and plenty of skill and good teamwork. The highlight of the game was a flowing move the length of the pitch ending with Conor Bracken burying the ball to the back of the net.The win qualifies the lads for a semi final in a couple of weeks.Panel;O Murray,T Bradley,L Gavin,M Henry,E Bracken,F Cunningham,J Simpson,H Niall,G Cunningham,E Curran,C Bracken,J Costello,R Jones,J Moran,T Conteh,P King,L Whitney,C Digan,O Johnston,D Lowry,
