U6/8/10 Training at 6:15p on Wed evenings.

U14: Training at 7:30pm on Weds evening in Pollard.

U12: Hurling League Rd4 Castlepollard vs Southern Gaels Wed 14th Aug in Athlone @ 7pm.

U14: Hurling C’ship Rd4: Clann na Gael vs Southern Gaels on Thurs 15th Aug in Athlone @ 7pm Ref: S. Keenan.

Senior Hurling Championship.

Our Senior Hurlers and mentors were narrowly beaten in the Senior Hurling Championship by Raharney on Tues 6th Aug in Teg Cusack Park on a scoreline Pollard 1-13 Raharney 2-12.  Despite missing a number of players thru’ holidays and injuries this was a huge improvement in performance with many feeling this was a game the Pollard lads should have won. They now face Clonkill in round 4 of the Championship.

Club Gear

Castlepollard GAA Club gear is now available on the O’Neills website. There are various different items of gear including socks , shorts, t-shirt’s, jackets, tracksuit bottoms and hoodies and all include the club crest.

Condolences

Condolences to the family and friends of the late Chrissie Grimes, Glenview, who died on Wednesday, August 7th.  To her daughters Mary and Anne, son Pat, her brothers Mick and Johnny, relatives and friends we offer our deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace.   Chrissie was a great supporter of out Hurling Club Bingo.

Bingo

Our weekly Bingo continues next Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex.  The Main Jackpot stands at  €15,000 and our 2nd Jackpot now also stands at €15,000.

Lotto Draw

Our Lotto Draw took place during Bingo on Sunday night last .  The numbers drawn were :-  10,16,17,27. 

There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:
