We took on neighbours Tang in the opening round of this years intermediate championship, in Tubberclaire last Sunday, the game started off slowly with both teams only managing 2 points in the first 15 minutes, Tang then started to pull away as they went into half time with a 3 point lead, Maryland battled hard in the second half and managed to get the game back level at 8 points a piece,   maryland then stuck a goal with Joe Harte putting away a great goal. Tang managed one more point for the rest of the game while Maryland put over 2 more to finish the game with a 4 point lead
