Joe Quaid has no doubt that Robbie Greville will be fit for Westmeath's Joe McDonagh Cup final against Laois on Sunday week, despite suffering a broken nose against the same opponents on Saturday.
The Westmeath manager is known for his sharp wit, but reporters in O'Moore Park were still taken aback by his response to a question regarding Greville's wellbeing.
"Ah he'll be grand. His nose is broken. He'll be fine," the former Limerick goalkeeper replied.
As the late Páidí Ó Sé famously remarked after guiding the Lake County to Leinster SFC glory in 2004, "they're tough men in Westmeath!"
