U14 Division 2 League Final

Lilliput Gaels 5-14  Shandonagh 2-05

Not for the first time this year, our U14's make the headlines again this week when they captured the Division 2 league title to add to their Féile title. They did this courtesy of a convincing and well earned win over hard-working Shandonagh last Saturday afternoon in Cusack Park. Having played Shandonagh in an earlier round in Castletown, we knew our opponents would be difficult to breakdown but our lads started the game well and we had built up a solid 2-08 to 1-03 lead by half time. We continued to dominate in the second half to run out deserved winners. To their credit, Shandonagh never gave up and despite the winning margin, they battled gamely to the end. Well done to the team and their mentors on another great success for this team. Next up are the National Féile finals in Mayo in a fortnight and we're sure the lads will have a marvellous experience while hopefully serving up another few surprises for us! Panel: Ronan McLavin, Oisin Kiernan, Sean Jackson, Eoin Robinson, Dylan Franzoni, Killian Jackson, David Costello, Jack Gannon, Peter Murphy, Shane Corcoran, Jack Mulligan, Adam Clarke, Adam Cassidy, Philip Reynolds, Dylan Corrigan, Christian Dowling, Sean Macken, Luke Robinson, Jack Maloney, Morgan Redmond, Shane King, Evan Dalton, Patrick Maloney, Cian Corcoran.

Club Lotto

The lotto jackpot is a whopping €15,700 at the moment. Our weekly club lotto our single most very important source of funding for our club so it is very important that it is well supported each week by our members either by selling or buying tickets. What better way to support your club than to be in with a chance to win this massive jackpot? There are flexible payment options available where you can play for quarter, half or full annual installments. If you want to support our club lotto on a regular basis, then please contact Martin McCann or Sean Delaney. Last weeks winning numbers were 1, 10, 23 and 27. Congratulations to Paddy Cole and Alva Brennan who were match three winners!

Ballinagore GAA Big Day Out

We are arranging a club day on Sunday 7th July which promises to be a great day out for the area. There will be all sorts of games, entertainment and refreshments on the day so make sure to mark it in your diary and come along on the day!

New Arrival to Ballinagore

The club sends it congratulations and best wishes to Aine and Colm Maloney on the birth of their baby son.

County Games

Next Saturday will see Westmeath Minor and Senior footballers play and exciting double header in Cusack Park and there is Ballinagore interest in both games. In the minor game, Darragh Seery captains his side in the Leinster semi-final against Dublin while Tommy McDaniel lines out for Westmeath against Limerick in round two of the qualifiers. We wish both Darragh and Tommy the very best of luck. Throw in for the minor curtain-raiser is 15:45, followed by an 18:00 start for the seniors. It would be great if as many Ballinagore and Westmeath Gaels can make it in to support the lads and Westmeath on Saturday. Finally, congratulations to Enda Kenny on Roscommon's great win in the Connaught Final on Sunday, you still better be at training on Tuesday Enda!
