Garrycastle 0-8 Moate All Whites 3-15
Our return at the first attempt to Div 2 was confirmed with a relatively comfortable win away to Garrycastles 2nd team and in doing so we maintained our unbeaten record in the league to date.
After some wasteful early shooting we put together a good move which saw the excellent Gavin Murray finish to the net and this helped settle the lads.Paul Sheridan then raised a green flag after being at the end of another flowing move and this saw us go in 2-7 to 0-4 up at the break.We remained largely in control in the second half with the highlight being a great solo goal from one of the years most improved players Darren Claffey.Other notable performances from Eoghan Dalton who was dominant around the middle and Robbie Forde who finished with a personal tally of 0-7.Well done to the players and management.Panel Darren McCardle,Sean Bracken,Andrew Gorman,Callum Jones,Gavin Murray,Paul Gorman,David Mullins,Eoghan Dalton,Ronan Conway,Conor Sheridan,Ruairi Cunningham,Paul Sheridan,Darren Claffey,Robbie Forde,Billy Berry,Brendan Arigho,James Bracken,Gareth Murray,Nicky Hamm,Cathal O Brien,Fiachra Cunningham.
