U16 Football League Division 1

Lilliput Gaels 2-04  St. Lomans 0-10

On Friday evening last we travelled to Lakepoint Park to play the home side in round 4 of the league. Conditions were ideal and with both teams evenly matched the football on view was exciting and free flowing. We held a slender lead at half time, 2-01 to 6 points. In the second half both sides went at it hammer and tongs again. Again, there was little between the teams again and both sides were guilty of missed chances. However when the referee called time, the match ended level which was a fair result. This result sees us maintain our unbeaten run and keeps us in second place in the division, just behind Coralstown/Kinnegad, with everything left to play. Fixtures

A busy weekend ahead with our U16's due to play Killucan (fixture tbc) while our junior footballers have two home games at the weekend. They are due out against Shandonagh in Division 4 on Saturday evening at 17:30 while on Sunday morning, our second team play Athlone in Division 6 at 11:30.

 

Club Lotto

Last weeks winning numbers were 2, 8, 11 and 20. We had two match 3 winners in Yvonne Gannon and Sophie Favier, well done to both! Next weeks jackpot now stands at a mouth watering €13,100. Be in with your chance to claim the big money for just €2 this week!

 

Club Membership

Membership for 2019 is now due and you are asked to please renew your annual membership before 31st March. Rates are unchanged from last year with options available to suit individuals and families for gym, full and social membership.
