All Ireland Final
We want to send our best wishes to Erin Heeney, Darragh Seery, Peter and Philip Reynolds as they travel to Castlebar on Saturday to represent our club and county in the All Ireland Scór na nÓg Table Quiz final. This is our second year in a row for this team to take part in the All Ireland Final and the club is very proud of their achievement. Great credit has to go to the team and their mentors, Shane Heraty and Oliver Reynolds, for the huge preparation that they have put in over the last number of months. Hopefully all the hard work will pay off next Saturday and we hope they enjoy the special occasion.

Our U16's kick off their season on Sunday with a home game in Ballinagore against St. Mary's at 11:00. On the same day, our U20's play their second game in the league away to Shandonagh at 11:30. Best of luck to both sides.
Lilliput Gaels Registration
A registration evening for Lilliput Gaels and Castletown Geoghegan juvenile football and hurling clubs takes place on Thursday 14th February between 18:00 and 19:30 in CTG clubhouse. Please try to make it on the evening to register our young players for the year ahead as games are already commencing.

Our table quiz team take part in the county final on the previous Thursday, 21st Feb, at 20:00 in the Greville Arms. Best of luck to all involved!
Townland League
Our annual townland league takes place this year on Sunday 24th February. This year is the 9th instalment of our annual competition which pits our local townlands against each other for 12 months bragging rights. Last year saw a united nations of townlands from Cloonagh, Balrath, Killeenlahan, Ballinagore defeat a Toarlisnamore/Cloneyheigue outfit in the senior final, while in the junior decider we had another classic where only one point separated Maurice Davins from Michael Cusacks. We hope to see another large turnout of young and old on Sunday week where refreshments will be served and fun will be the order of the day.
Club Membership
Membership for 2019 is now due. Rates are unchanged from last year with options available to suit individuals and families for gym, full and social membership. Membership can be renewed at our townland league on Sunday 24th February.
National Club Draw
We want to thank everyone who supported our club over the last few weeks by buying national club draw tickets. This great initiative by the GAA is a vital source of club fundraising for the year ahead. Fingers crossed that we have a local winner of some of the fabulous prizes on offer. The draw takes place on March 6th and results will be published on the GAA website. Best of luck!
Last Man Standing Competition
We had another big wipe-out this week with 28 casualties. Of the top five picks for week three, Wexford's defeat to London and Tipp's big win over Donegal knocked out many of this weeks contestants. As we approach the fourth round, we still have 34 entries in with a chance so best of luck to everyone still standing!
Planning Ahead
Although it's still in the early stages of 2019, Ballinagore GAA is already planning ahead for 2020 when the club will celebrate its centenary. The club is preparing to embark on exciting developments at our grounds to coincide with the celebration of 100 years of gaelic football being played in and around our village. A lot of work and planning has already taken place and we intend to hold an information night with an official launch of our plans over the next number of weeks. We hope that our club membership, past and present, and our community will rally behind us, get involved and support us. Details will be included in our club notes and on Facebook so keep an eye out and get talking!
Club Lotto
Last weeks winning numbers were 2, 6, 7 and 9. We had no match three winners. Next weeks jackpot stands at €12,100.
