Membership

The club membership for this year is €20 for adults and €10 for students. This covers your insurance on the pitch for players and on the walking track for non-players, alongside also including your entry into our All-Ireland Final tickets draw.

Clothes Collection

We are holding our next clothes collection at Easter in conjunction with the camogie club. All clothing, shoes, belts, bags, blankets, sheets and curtains will be accepted and can be left in bags at the park any time before the collection date. Please contact 0871508389 if you require your bags to be collected.

Lilliput Gaels A.G.M.

Lilliput Gaels held their AGM in Castletown Geoghegan Clubhouse on Thursday 17th of January. With the outgoing committee having served for four years a new executive was elected on the night. Ray Gavigan was elected as Chairman with Olly Macken filling the secretary’s role and Paul O'Neill coming in as Treasurer. Tributes were paid to the outgoing Chairman- Mick Fagan, Secretary- Liam McDaniels and Treasurer - Conor Elliffe on their fantastic service to the club with all three pledging to stay involved. Anna O'Malley is again membership officer and she was thanked for her trojan work in collecting the membership fees which are vital to keep the club afloat. It was decided to enter an Under 20 team in the upcoming league planned for February.

Table Quiz and Awards Night

We are hosting our Annual Table Quiz and Awards Night on the 22nd of February in the Drake Inn. Time TBC. On the night, Senior and Young Player of the Year will be awarded, also Club Person of the Year will be announced. So, save the date!!

National Football League’s Pools.

It’s that time of year again when we predict the winners of the National Leagues. They commence this Saturday the 26th of January, and all sheets are to be returned before 12 noon Saturday, and sheets are available from all local business.

County Success

Congratulations to David Lynch who played a part in the Westmeath Footballers O’Byrne Cup win on Friday night last against Dublin, and to Naoise McKenna, Johnny Bermingham, Aonghus Clarke and Shane Clavin on their role in the Westmeath Senior Hurling panel win on Saturday in the Kehoe Cup final.

Lotto

1,12,15 and 30 were this week’s winning numbers and the jackpot of €11000 was won by our very own Jimmy Gavigan (Fr. Jack Hackett!). Jimmy has been a life long supporter of the club’s so he is a well worthy winner! Next weeks jackpot will begin at €3000. Thanks again to everyone who supports our lotto every week.
