Club Lotto

Last weeks winning numbers were 17, 18, 24 and 29. We had no match three winners. Next weeks jackpot stands at €11,500.

Lilliput Gaels AGM

Our juvenile club AGM took place last Thursday night in Castletown clubhouse. Ray Gavigan was elected as the new chairman of our juvenile club. He will be ably assisted by Ollie Macken as secretary and Paul O'Neill as treasurer. Our thanks to Mick Fagan, Liam McDaniels and Conor Elliffe who have manned these positions over the last four years and we wish the new committee the very best of luck for the year ahead.

National Club Draw

It's that time of year again where the club takes part in the annual national club draw competition. This is a great initiative by the GAA at national level that enables clubs to raise funds right when they are required at the commencement of the season. All of our players and committee members currently have tickets for sale. There is a huge range of prizes on offer from a car, sports packages, holiday and retail vouchers etc. Tickets cost just €10 and all proceeds go to our club. We encourage everyone in the area to get involved and support so if you haven't already been asked then please enquire of any player or committee member.

Last Man Standing Competition

We are presently running a last man standing competition for the upcoming national football leagues. This is a very straight forward competition to enter where you just have to pick one team as a winner from each of the seven rounds. Entries must be received by Friday evening of this week. Costs just €10 to enter and entry forms are available from Mark King, Darren Rigney or you can print directly from our Facebook page.

Fitness Classes

Our regular fitness classes return for 2019 this week with the following schedule in place:

There was a great turnout last Thursday evening for our first Operation Transformation walk. Our lights will be on every Thursday night between now and the end of the programme towards the end of February. Open to all, you don't have to be a member for this walk so just turn up and bring your friends! You can now go for a walk or run on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings between 7pm and 9.30pm.

Official Opening of The Bodhrán

Following a very successful Macra table quiz at the weekend, our local pub will officially open its doors on Friday evening where a great night of music and entertainment is lined up. It promises to be a great night for the locality so make sure to drop in for an hour or three!
