Gaa: The u20 football championship kicked off last Sunday morning when Rosemount / Castledaly took on Moate All Whites in the Park. We took the initiative from the off with good scores from Sean Pettit, Kevin Stone and Ben Cox. Our defense was doing very well, and Padraig Geoghegan was putting in a huge shift in midfield. We went at half time 8 points up . The second half began much like the first. Some good approach play from defense up resulted in a well finished goal by wing back Aaron Keane. We went on finish the game the strongest and secured the win on a score of 3.18 to 0.08. Well done lads. 

 

Walking track lights are now on from 8pm to 10pm Monday to Friday in the park.

 

Rosemount Gaa Club Gear including club jerseys are now available on the O’Neills website. There are various different items of gear including socks , shorts, t-shirt’s, jackets, tracksuit bottoms and hoodies and all Include the club crest. You must register on the O’Neills website before you can make any purchases. The page can be found by going to the O’Neills website and searching for ‘Rosemount’ under the ‘your club ‘ section. If any items are out of stock , they are due to be updated again in July with sizes.

 

The Rosemount Half Marathon, and 10k race finally arrived and took place last Saturday October 13th , and what an event it was. Huge thanks must be paid to our hard working committee and to all who helped out with stewarding on the day. It takes a lot of planning and organization to do a huge event such as this , and as a club we can be very proud of the event over all .
