Turin U10 Hurling

Congrats to the Turin U10 hurlers who won the Turin tournament on Saturday afternoon. Well done to this great bunch of skillful and determined hurlers who showed that all their practice and training pays off! Thanks especially to the coaches who gave their time to train these lads all year, and to the parents for bringing the boys to training sessions regularly and to games and blitzes. Thanks also to everyone who helped out in McCabe Park on Saturday, especially those who provided refreshments, refereed games and helped with the teas and the clean up. Turin Abú!

Under 6 and Under 8 hurling

Training and games are finished for the season for the Under 6s and Under 8s. Well done to all the players and coaches for their efforts during the year. We hope to have an end of year party before Halloween as a special treat. Don't forget to keep up the practice at home.

On Saturday morning Na Piarsaigh U14s started the busy weekend of hurling with a fantastic U14 Championship Semi-final victory over Clann na Gael. Played in very wet conditions in Collinstown, in front of a good crowd despite the downpour, the lads produced a magnificent hour of hurling from every player to defeat our opponents for the second time in a month. Final score: Na Piarsaigh 4-8, Clann na nGael 1-6. This was a brilliant performance and win from a very dedicated bunch of players which sees the them through to an U14 County Championship final against Castletown Geoghegan. Details tbc

Well done to the Na Piarsaigh U16 hurlers who were victorious over Clonkill on Sunday morning in Clonkill in the U16 Championship Semi-final. Final score Na Piarsaigh 4-10, Clonkill 0-7. Again, this was another great performance from the whole squad, especially in the second half. They will now face Raharney in the U16 Hurling Championship final. Details tbc.

Na Piarsaigh U12s travelled to Dunderry in County Meath on Sunday morning for a juvenile tournament. After a very well contested first game, honours were even against Trim and this was followed with a win over Navan O’Mahoneys. However Na Piarsaigh went through to the Shield final on score difference where they played Dunderry, and won easily. Well done to the panel of players on this win and a very successful season of hurling.

Well done to all the coaches, players and parents involved with all the teams. Thanks to all those who provided refreshments and helped with teas during the week after training sessions and games.
