Castledaly Fit Club continues each Monday Wednesday and Friday with

ladies classes at 7pm & gents at 8pm.

Castledaly 1-11(14)  St. Mary's Rochfortbridge 1-11(14)

 

A last minute 45 yard free kick from Jordan Nugent was enough to

equalise for a share of points and cap a difficult game for Castledaly

as they encountered a St Mary’s team full of determination to secure

points essential for their survival.   Both teams were off form with

numerous missed chances, but both goalkeepers earned applause to

excellent goal chances saves.   Key moments included a 50th minute

goal from Kevin Stone to put Castledaly ahead but 7 minutes later St

Marys retrieved the lead with a goal of their own.  Castledaly battled

to the last minute and deserved a share of the points at the final

whistle.

Castledaly sends its thoughts and prayers to family and friends of the

late Michael Heavin who sadly passed away this week after illness.
