Minors

St Aidan's V Kilmore/Shannon Gaels/ St Ronan's

2-09 0-13

Our Minors had a great win last Friday evening in the Division 2 League Final.

It was a hard fought win with a goal in the first half by John Why and another goal in the second half by Kyle Kelly kept us ahead throughout the game. This was a real team effort with the subs making a huge impact. Adam Donnelly had a great game in goal with some top class saves. Our Minors will now be playing Division 1 Championship. This was a fantastic result for the players and the club. Well done to all involved.

Team: A Donnelly, J Cunniffe, O Campbell, S Lynch, T Fallon, J Cunniffe, C Fallon, J Donnelly, D Tracey, J Why, D Keegan, D Mears, K Kelly, J Kelly, P Cummins, D Finneran, A Cummins, J Kennedy, P Kelly, C Dolan, M Hoey.

Intermediates

St Aidan's V Tulsk

1-12 0-06

Our Intermediates continued their good League form on Friday last with a great win against Tulsk in Ballyforan.

The weather was up and conditions were perfect. The game itself played out very well with our boys on top form from the start, some well taken scores and a penalty left the scores 1-07 to 0-05 at half time.

The second half was more of the same, our defence was rock solid on the day the we only conceded a single point in the second half. We probably should have scored more in the game as the lads really were terriffic. Final score 1-12 to 0-06 and that makes if 4 from 4 in the League. Well done to the team and the management. They now have a few weeks off as the Rossies get their campaign underway. Best wishes to them on Saturday in Carrick on Shannon. Our next intermediate game will be Friday 8th June against Padraig Pearses in the County Cup.

U12's

St Aidan's V Kilbride

14pts to 12pts

Well done to our U12's who had a good win over Kilbride in Ballyforan on Sunday afternoon. It was a very exciting game and Aidan's came back from 5 points down to record a 2 point win against a gallant Kilbride team. A very entertaining game with good football from both sides. A good start from Kilbride resulted in them having a 2 point lead at half time. Aidan's came out in the second half and work very hard to turn it around and get the victory. All players played very well and well done to the whole panel.
