Turin Hurling club notes
April 16, 2018Registration Week.
Turin GAA Registration Week. €20 per child or €50 family. Players are not insured unless registration is paid. It can be done Tuesday, Thursday or Friday in the park.
Turin Hurling Club and Turin Underage Hurling held a Monster Auction on Saturday 14th April. Thanks to all those who donated items for the auction, those who collected and delivered items, anyone who attended on the day, the Cloughan Inn and everyone involved in any way that contributed to make the event a success.
Turin Underage Training
Underage training takes place every Friday evening in McCabe Park for Under 6 - beginners and Under 8. Under 10 hurling training is Thursday evening. U12/U14 is on Tuesday in Turin this week. Attendance st training is important for players to improve.
New players are always welcome at any age and we have helmets and hurleys to borrow.
Na Piarsaigh
Our minor panel travelled to Castletown Geohegan on Thursday 12th April and came away with a great win . 2-15 to 1-14
Our Under 16 hurlers came played out a draw in an evenly matched game against Raharney on Sunday in Raharney. 2-11 to 2-10.
Feile na nGael
Na Piarsaigh are holding a fundraising 5K Run/Walk on May 19th to raise funds for the Feile weekend in June. All U14 players and U14 parents will be getting cards so please support this event by sponsoring someone taking part or by coming along on the day and running/walking. Entry €10.
The draws for Feile na nGael 2018 have been made. Na Piarsaigh will be hosting Emeralds GAA from Kilkenny in Division 3 on weekend of June 8, 9 and 10; and we hope to give them a warm welcome and put on a great weekend!

Camogie training takes place Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. New players welcome.
