Juvenile coaching

We had a huge turnout of kids between the ages of four and 10 for our second juvenile coaching session of the year last Thursday evening. Hopefully, the numbers will continue to grow in the coming weeks. Our next session takes place this coming Thursday at 6pm. Membership forms can be obtained from Martina Rochford or Marie Lynagh.

Child Protection Workshop

Our club was well represented at last Wednesday night's Child Protection in Sport Awareness Workshop in Scoil an Chlochair, which was both insightful and informative. Thanks to tutor Noel Delaney for conducting the workshop. The Kilbeggan attendees were: David Marshall, Randal Scally, Niall Maxwell, Sean Rochford, Finbarr Coffey, Damien McLoughlin, Fintan Donaghy, Mark Grennan, Finbarr Leahy, Richie McMahon, Michael Murphy, Rebecca Hannevig, James Claffey, Kelly-Anne Mealiffe, Colin Draper, John Ryan and Willie Daniels.

The late Phyllis Roberts

We extend our sympathy to the Roberts and Brennan families on the death of Phyllis Roberts (nee Brennan). Phyllis' son Adrian played underage football with us in the late 1980s.

Last week's lucky numbers were 3, 13, 22 and 28. Michael Marshall and Sarah Brennan were the Match 3 winners. This week's draw takes place in The Saddler's Inn when the jackpot will be €14,150.
