Westmeath's Ray Connellan is in line to make his Aussie Rules debut for St Kilda this Friday.
After spending his first year at the Saints getting to grips with the oval ball code, the Athlone native has been included in the club's 20-man squad for the inaugural AFLX tournament which will see them face Essendon and Hawthorn.
The Irish rookie is one of five newcomers that will be hoping to force their way into first team coach Alan Richardson's plans for the coming AFL season.
TweetHe's got lightning speed and an eye for goal.
