Scor

Pride of place this week goes to our Ballad Group comprising Lee Marshall, Saoirse Fleming, Fiona Fennell, Edwina Maloney and Neil Moran who qualified for the county Scor Sinsear final in Ballymore last Saturday night. This is a great achievement in what is our first year back in Scor after a long absence. All support for the quintet in the final in The Downs on February 24 would be greatly appreciated.

Lotto 

Last week's lucky numbers were 7, 19, 23 and 24. There were three Match 3 winners - Josie Smith, Joe Fitzpatrick and Orla Fitzgerald. This week's draw will take place in the Saddler's Inn when the jackpot will be €13,000. Thank you for your continued support.

Minor

Last Sunday's scheduled minor league Division 3 game against Inny Shamrocks was called off as the opposition were unable to field.

The late Morgan McNamara

We offer our condolences to the family of Morgan McNamara, late of McNamara's Pub on Main Street, who passed away in Piercetown, Co. Wexford last weekend. Morgan's grandson, Morgan Mealiffe, has represented the club at all levels and was also a county minor a few years ago. May he rest in peace.

Camogie captain

Congratulations to our very own Mairead McCormack on her appointment as Westmeath intermediate camogie captain for the coming year.
