Waterford look likely to be without instrumental wing back Tadhg de Búrca for next month's All-Ireland SHC semi-final after the defender was sent off in the late stages of today's victory over Wexford.
The Clashmore-Kinsalebeg clubman was issued a straight red card by referee Fergal Horgan in the 65th minute of his side's quarter-final win over the Model men for interfering with opponent Harry Kehoe's helmet.
Horgan acted on the advice of his linesmen and it is not yet known whether Waterford will appeal the red card which, as things stand, will rule de Búrca out for the Deise men's semi-final clash against either Galway or Cork.
The draw to decide the semi-final pairings takes place tomorrow morning at approximately 8.35am on RTE's Morning Ireland programme.
