There was great sadness in the Club and throughout the town with the untimely death of Pat Toomey, Bay View, last weekend. Pat was a leading member of the Ladies Football Club since its foundation in 1997. He was mentor, manager, coach and friend to so many players over the years. He was a lovely person who was always hdd in high esteem with everyone he met.

He was a regular Friday night card player in the Club and always enjoyed the social occasion. A proud Kerry man, he loved following the fortunes of the Kerry
Footballers. He is survived by his wife, Marian and children, Martin, Louise, Susan and Rebecca. May The Lord have mercy on his gentle soul. Go nDeana Dia trocaire ar a anam.
