Brendan Flynn, Ireland Monument Project Coordinator and Mr Fergal McGill, Gaelic Athletic Association recently met at Croke Park Stadium to review the documents for the Ireland Monument proposed for Stanley Park Vancouver BC Canada. Mr. Eddie Reynolds also of the Committee was in attendance.

Gaelic Football Playing Schedule for Durham Shamrock Youth
In  the Durham Region of Ontario, the new Fall program for youth has been finalised. It will run on Tuesday nights 7.30pm - 8.30pm for 23 weeks beginning September 30th 2008 until April 28th 2009.

Cross Community Under 16 Hurling Team, the Belfast Cúchulainns, have won the Intercontinental Youth Games Under 16 Hurling Championships defeating New York 3-12 to 1-5 in the final of the competition  in Philadelphia.
