The 47th Annual Awards Banquet of the New York GAA Minor Board will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2017, at the Villa Barone, 737 Throggs Neck Expressway Bronx, NY 10465. Cocktail hour is from 7pm to 8pm, dinner and dancing is from 8pm to 12am. Music is provided by the Cunningham Brothers. Admission is $100 for adults and $ 40 for children under-18.

The James O'Sullivan Award will be presented to

Danny McKenna (Celtics G.F.C)

 

The New York Minor Board is proud to recognize our 2016

New York Under-14 All-Star Team that participated in the Féile Peil na nÓg Tournament in Ireland during the summer of 2016 and the Native Team who participated in the World Games and won the championship in Croke Park.

We will also recognize our Championship, League and CYC winners along with the Tournament captain's (football and Hurling) 2016 Player of the Year in each age group, and our 2016 MVPs as well as the winners of the Scor na Nog this past year.

The John Clarke and John Brady Scholarships will also be presented. Additionally, there will be Minor Board scholarships presented to three high school and three college students who are active Minor Board players.
