'It's been a huge success' - GAA President John Horan speaking at the USGAA Finals in Leesburg, Virginia. 'The whole uptake in hurling and camogie is unbelievable. The future of the GAA here is in a good position'.
The biggest ever USGAA Finals was played over three days at Movren Park, an equestrian centre, and hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Division.
'It's good to see so many homegrown players', adds LGFA President Marie Hickey, attending her first USGAA Finals. 'There's more teams here than ever before and it's great that players I have seen at CYC continuing to play'.
