Mayo’s senior footballers will be staying in the US until Thursday for a training camp in preparation for their Connacht SFC semi-final against either Leitrim or Roscommon.

James Horan’s men came through yesterday’s provincial opener against New York with no fuss, winning out on a 1-22 to 0-4 score-line in the Bronx.

The Westerners had led by 16 points at the half and had 11 different scores over the 70 minutes at Gaelic Park.

They’ll take on the winners of Leitrim and Roscommon on May 25th.
