A video has appeared online in recent days of a full blooded 'clash of the ash' which took place in Boston earlier this summer.
Neighbours Tipperary and Offaly were meeting in the early stages of the Boston senior hurling championship when a sideline tussle led to plenty of timber being broken.
"Oh my God, are you serious?" a shocked American onlooker can be heard saying in the video.
Tipperary won the game before going on to be crowned county champions following a 3-20 to 0-16 victory over Fr Tom Burke's last Sunday. They will now take part in the the USGAA All-American Championship finals in Philadelphia this weekend.
