Next Match:

Harlesden Harps have their next Murphy Cup match this coming Sunday, 23rd April at 3:30pm against Cú Chulainns. The match will take place at Greenford, pitch two, London, UB6 0NZ. The game offers a chance to keep up the early season momentum. Let's start the game well and give ourselves a chance of some early season silverware.

As usual, make sure you check public transport is in use and for any likely traffic delays, etc and ensure everyone is at the venue nice and early for a proper preparation for the game.

Previous Match:

The Harps had a comfortable victory against St Brendan's in the Murphy Cup recently. A top-class performance from our boys as they produced a commanding performance throughout to run out easy winners on a scoreline of 6-16 to 0-13. The goals were spread out with Danny Somers, Darren Lynch, Mossy O Donovan, John Rafferty, James Minahan and John Enright all hitting the onion bag. Although there will be tougher tests ahead the game still proved a useful run-out and continued the unbeaten start to the year for the team, especially encouraging against a fellow Intermediate team.

Murphy Cup:

Harlesden Harps have been placed in Group A of the VGC Group Intermediate Football Championship and will have games to play against Taras, St Anthony's and St Joseph's.

Training:

Training continues this week taking place Tuesday and Thursday at 7:45pm in The Shamrock Club, 307A Horn Lane, Acton, W3 0BP (nearest tube station: North Acton on the Central Line). Any new players wishing to "play a bit a ball" are very welcome to come along to this well-run club. If needed we can offer good jobs, along with accommodation and a social life to our members. Transport to and from training and pick up from local stations can also be arranged.

Membership 2017:
Membership for the year is £60 per person. You will get your own club socks and shorts once membership has been paid. Everyone please pay a club officer sooner rather than later.
