St Clarets club notes
January 11, 2019Happy New Year to all of our club members, supporters and friends.
We start the year with the AGM. This takes place on Sunday 3rd February. Starting at 3pm at Hayes Rugby Club, Kingshill Avenue, Hayes, UB4 8BZ.
This is an opportunity to reflect on last year and set our targets for the forthcoming year. All of our club members and players are asked to attend. This includes our senior and youth members. With a growing youth section it would be encouraging to see more of the youth parents attending.
New players are always welcome to the club. If you're looking to get back into the game or have just moved to London please feel free to contact us. We will assist you in finding work, accommodation and transport to and from training. As Hillingdon Borough's only GAA club we cover a wide area of West London including Hayes, Uxbridge, West Drayton, Hillingdon, Ruislip, Northolt and even out to Slough and Windsor. London GAA are organising a Safeguarding Course for all youth coaches.mentors/administrators. This will take place on Thursday 24th January from 7pm - 10pm in McGovern Park, Ruislip, HA4 6QX. Numbers are limited so please register your interest asap. This is vital for anyone involved with our youth teams.
There will also be a Level One Gaelic Football Coaching Course over the following weekends in early 2019:
Friday, January 18th, 2019 7.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Saturday, January 19th 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Sunday, January 20th 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Friday, February 22nd 7.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Sunday, February 24th 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Again, numbers on this course are limited so please let us know if you're interested in this.
