Holders Fulham Irish will meet Tir Chonaill Gaels in the London SFC final for the second year running, in two weeks' time.

Fulham Irish's quest for back-to-back championships remains on course following a 2-18 to 2-7 victory over Round Towers in the first part of yesterday's double-header at McGovern Park. An early Towers goal had the sides level at the interval (0-7 to 1-4) before Greg McCartan's men stepped up a gear on the restart at McGovern Park.

In the second game, goals courtesy of Brian Mullin (2), Killian Butler and Kevin Rafferty saw Tir Chonaill Gaels thump North London Shamrocks, 4-14 to 1-4. The Gaels can now look forward to their sixth successive county SFC final and they will be hoping it's a case of third time lucky having lost the previous two.

Meanwhile, in Greenford yesterday, twelve-time SFC winners Kingdom Kerry Gaels retained their senior status at the expense of Cuchulainns with a 2-13 to 1-8 win.

In hurling, on Saturday, a late Cian Lordan goal helped Robert Emmetts dethrone reigning London SHC champions Kilburn Gaels on a 1-16 to 0-15 scoreline in Ruislip to set up a final meeting with St Gabriels next weekend.
