Our seniors lost their first league game and suffered another heavy defeat at the hands of Dulwich Harps on Saturday. They lost out by a scoreline of 1-15 to 2-4. Unfortunately, we are not going to achieve results when we don't manage to get 15 fit players to a game and have men playing who are making up the numbers on the day. With 6 league games remaining then the championship everyone needs to up the effort given to the team if we are to stay in Division 2 and give ourselves a chance of winning the championship.
The team was: Liam Healy, Charlie O'Donnell, Daniel O'Connell, Conor Healy, Aidan Bradshaw, Ronan Gaughan, Luke Kelly, Paddy Donaghy, Jack Lavelle, Paddy Nutley, Shane Buckley, Lawrence Weir, Keith O'Neill, Ryan O'Connell, Matthew Healy.
Subs: Aidan Donaghy
On another note, there was no changing or shower facilities available for our players in Peckham Rye on Saturday. Obviously this isn't really acceptable (although this was due to works in the park and was of no fault of our hosts) but hopefully this means that we now get our home league games in Hayes rather than other venues across London if games are allowed to be played without full facilities.
The seniors' next fixture is yet to be confirmed.
Best of luck to the London senior football team who face Louth in the first round of qualifiers in Ruislip this Sunday and also the London senior hurling team who face Wicklow in the Christy Ring semi final this weekend.

We will be holding a World Cup Sweepstake ahead of the tournament in Russia in a couple of weeks time.
How it will work: each sheet contains 32 numbers, numbers 1-32, and each of these will be associated with a country (the draw for this will not take place until the night before the World Cup starts, Wed 13th June). A number costs £10 to purchase. The winner will receive £80, runner up £30 and if your country wins the third place playoff you will receive your money back.
Please contact a committee member to purchase a number for your chance to win a few pound.
A copy of the sweepstake is also attached if you're able to sell any numbers too.
