The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place early in the New Year.

 

Sympathies

London Youths Committee would like to offer sincere sympathies with Fiona Corrigan and family (Parnells) for the recent passing of her Grandmother, Mary Quinn, residing in London but hailed from Co Longford. Also to Brendan Moyles and family (St Kiernans) on the passing of his mother-in law in her 103 year Margaret Ward Swinford, Mayo. We keep them all in our thoughts and prayers. May their gentle souls Rest In Peace.

 

First Aid course 

On Saturday November the 11th a First Aid course was run in McGovern Park, Ruislip. Well done to all who participated and organised the course.

 

St Kiernans Youths Annual Presentation

St Kiernan's Youths Presentation will take place on Friday the 17th of November at Harrow Rugby Club from 7pm onwards.

 

Parnells Youths Annual Presentation

Parnells Youths Annual Presentation will take place on Sunday the 19th of November at McGovern Park in Ruislip from 2pm onwards.

 

London Ladies AGM

London Ladies will hold their Annual General Meeting on Saturday 25th of November at McGovern Park in Ruislip at 1pm. 

 

London GAA County Convention

London GAA County Convention will take place on Sunday 17th December at 12pm & will be preceded by a Mass for members at 11am at McGovern Park Ruislip

 

Safeguarding Course

London GAA are organising another Safeguarding Course for all of our youth coaches/mentors/administrators involved with London GAA. The Safeguarding Course is on Saturday, November 25th which will run from 10am.- 1pm in McGovern Park, Ruislip (HA4 6QX). This course is limited to 20 people and in the interest of fairness, we will only accept 5 nominations from each Club. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please contact CDA Lloyd Colfer,078 72600073  if you are interested in attending. Finally, under the new guidelines from the Provincial Council of Britain GAA, anyone involved with teams that have players under the age of 18 must be DBS certified, complete a Coaching Course and also, a Safeguarding Course so it is imperative that we get as many people as possible to attend these Courses over the coming weeks and months before the season starts as there will be a zero-tolerance policy on this from the London County Board and the Provincial Council going forward.

The John West Féile Peil na n-Óg for 2018

The John West Féile Peil na n-Óg, will take place on Friday 29th June, Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July which will be hosted by Counties Down, Louth and Meath in 2018, 

 

All Britain Competitions (ABC) for 2018 

The All Britain Competitions for 2018 will commence on Thursday 12th of July until Sunday the 15th of July

 

London Minor Board 50th Anniversary 1967-2017







London Minor Board are celebrating their 50th Anniversary year 1967-2017. We are appealing for any team photographs or photos of memorabilia to help us mark this special occasion.
