Fundamentals returns on Thursday (27th) night from 7 > 8 pm for P1 & P2 boys and girls. Football continues on Thursday (27th) night for U8s boys (P3 & P4), for U10 boys (P5 & P6) and for U12 boys (P7 & Year 1). There is an U8 boys blitz on Saturday (29th) morning in Killeeshil at 10 am. Any parents available to help out setting up pitches, making sandwiches etc, please contact Martin Russell, as we attempt to make it a great morning for our U8s boys and all the clubs who are in attendance.
Last Saturday (22nd) was a busy day at St Mary's Park in Killeeshil where the wet weather didn't dampen a great mornings football, when we hosted teams from Galbally, Donaghmore, Dungannon and Edendork at our U10 boys blitz. With all clubs fielding two teams, the action was fast and furious and the football was spectacular with every team on show putting on stylish football, for the hundreds of spectators. Thanks to Pat Traynor and Cahal Bell for looking after the Killeeshil lads and Marty Russell, Michael Russell, Joseph O'Neill and Glen Gallagher for taking charge of the games. Thanks to the mums who provided sandwiches and buns and to the kitchen ladies who set up and cleaned up at the party afterwards. All help was much appreciated.
Girls U8 (P3 and P4) and U10 (P5 and P6) training continues this Wednesday (26th) from 6>7 pm.
The U14 girls were defeated in the league last Thursday (20th) by a strong Aodh Ruadh team. Next league game is Tuesday (2nd) at 7pm in Killeeshil v Donaghmore. Training this week is on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 >7 pm.
Our U14 boys played Dungannon last Saturday (22nd) at home and our lads put in another fantastic team performance to be leading by 4 pts at half-time. The boys were very unlucky not to have won on the day, as it finished a draw 3-6 to 2-9. The Feile is on this Tuesday (25th) night in Eglish against Moortown and Eglish. All support is welcome for the lads. Next league game v Moortown in Killeeshil next Monday (1st) at 7pm. Training this week on Thursday from 6 > 7 pm.
The minor girls have a league game this Tuesday (25th) evening against Dungannon at home with throw in at 6:45 pm. Come and support the girls as they continue their league games. On Wednesday (26th) evening, training continues for minors and senior ladies at 7pm. Our minor lads came up short against Kildress last Wednesday (19th) evening getting beat by 2 points. Next game is on Wednesday (26th) at home to Moortown at 7.15 pm.
The senior & reserve men hosted Derrytresk last Sunday (23rd) in the league. Our reserve men enjoyed victory on final score ok Killeeshil 5-9 Derrytresk 2-4. Our senior men showed lots of intensity to go in leading at half time during their game before eventually going down to a strong Derrytresk side, final score = Killeeshil 1-4 Derrytresk 1-14. Get well soon to Glenn Gallagher who had to go off at half time during this game with a shoulder injury. Training this week is on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30 pm as we prepare for games this Sunday (30th) away to Fintona. Reserve game is at 2.15 pm and seniors at 3.45 pm. All support is much appreciated for our men.
All committee members please attend the next meeting scheduled for next Monday (1st).

Also in action was Danny Millar who with his Minor teammates won the Ulster Minor League Play-Off Final beating Derry on a score line of 1:09 to 0:09 also last Saturday (22nd).
Huge good luck to Killeeshil senior star, current minor manager and a real stalwart of our club Shane Mallon, who enters the biggest match of his life this Friday (28th) when he gets married to pretty Edendork lady, Fiona O'Donnell. All the best for the future Shane & Fiona from everybody in the club, we are so happy for you both and you make a lovely couple.
