Top of the list this week is the news that our Club is starting a new weekly fundraiser called Lucky 4 where you have the chance to win £1000 with a £1 entry. Anyone playing the game picks 4 numbers from 1 to 30 with a match 4 winning or sharing in the jackpot, if the jackpot doesn’t go we’ll pick 2 lucky dips each week. We also have a new way for you to play the game, we have set up a Klubfunder account which can be downloaded onto you mobile phone or tablet or played by following the link on our Facebook Page. When you search for Killeeshil St. Mary’s on Klubfunder you will find our account and you will be able to enter the draw. Due to the processing fees we would ask that you enter for a minimum of 5 weeks, Klubfunder also allows recurring payments to be set up, so once you have entered you need not worry about having to log on and enter your numbers every time, the account will simply be a recurring direct debit for as many weeks as you wish. An informative, “How to Play” guide will appear on our Facebook Page for everyone wishing to take part in the draw. We hope that this will be a more convenient way for everyone to play and also a great chance for our overseas supporters to enter Lucky 4. Alternatively we will provide the more traditional method of entering the draw from your doorstep where your usual lotto collector can provide you with a Lucky 4 envelope and you can pick your numbers, again we plead that if this is your preferred option please enter the draw either monthly, quarterly or even annually so we can keep all our patrons and sellers safe and well. The reason we are not going back to our main Alphalot Draw just yet is because we had upwards of 600 entrants each week and until we’re sure that the same people are back playing with us then it is only fair that we hold our £10000 jackpot, giving all our regulars an equal chance to win. For anyone seeking more information please call Danny on 07715 708822.
Following on from the very successful PS4 Killeeshil Champions Cup online soccer competition, our man at the coal face, Conor Holland, had a busy few days making donations to local groups from the proceeds taken from the event. With the money going towards PPE, Conor, on behalf of the Club, made presentations to St Mary’s PS Cabragh, Fr Hannigan at Killeeshil Parish, Glenview Nursing Home and Errigal Medical Center. The Club was delighted to be able to give a little back locally and would like to thank everyone who entered the competition and to Glenn Gallagher, Daniel Millar and Conor Holland for all the hard work they put in to make the event so successful.
Please keep you skills challenges and birthday and get well wishes coming into us for posting on our Facebook page. With no football to chat about we like to keep the social media pages ticking over and lighten the humour for all our followers.
