Killeeshil GFC Notes

March 24, 2020

Again this week there are more important things in life than GAA but as a Club we want to keep our members who haven’t got access to the internet in touch to what our Club is doing.

As everyone knows ALL GAA activities are postponed. With the schools now out for the foreseeable future we do not want to see people of any age going for a kick about at our grounds or at the local primary school, remember this virus has the ability to affect all ages, we live in a close knit community with a lot of vulnerable people so please do the responsible thing and put other people first, heed the warnings and please help look after the good people of Killeeshil and beyond.

As we stated last week our Club has set up a dedicated team of volunteers to help out in these difficult times, if you or anyone you know would like help in the coming weeks either to lift a prescription, get a pint of milk or the daily paper or even just see a friendly face at your window then please call either Emma, 07543891840

Dominic, 07876135808
Kieran, 07887888594
Barry, 07933202025
Ruairi, 07784964316.

Again we stress that everything will be done to ensure the safety of both our volunteers and the recipient and we can guarantee the privacy of everyone who needs us. We’re all in this together and we’ll all get through it together so again we can’t stress enough, please heed the warnings keep safe.

Although everything is up in the air, our Registrar Emma is still available to take membership for the year and she can give you the bank details needed to sign up.  Call Emma on 07543891840 and she’ll sort all out.

Now when we’re spending more time in our homes please take the time to remember everyone in our Parish who are sick at this time or have lost a loved one, light a candle or do whatever you do to keep those people in your thoughts, it’ll mean the world to them.

Killeeshil GFC sends it’s sincere condolences to The Rehill Family, Enniskillen, on the death of Arthur, Mary Queen of the Gael, Pray for him.

Please keep up to date with all things GAA on our Facebook Page, Killeeshil GFC.
