Having suffered the heartache of losing an Ulster club IFC final last weekend, Tyrone side Galbally Pearses are keen to build on their successes this year.

Monaghan side Magheracloone came out on top in the provincial decider which was a tough defeat for Galbally to take.

Following a league and championship double, there is still plenty to be positive about as joint captain Sean Murphy explained to the Ulster Herald.

“That’s it, there’s no point in us having a good season and that not backing it up,” stressed Murphy.

“We’ve a really strong group of players and we’re still developing. Hopefully this year will stand us, we’ll come back again and we’re looking forward to it even if losing the Ulster final is hard to stomach.”
