The U13 boys have now finished for the year. Thanks to all the parents who helped all year by driving them to games etc. Huge thanks also to the management team of Vinny Sherry, Paul Fearon and Liam Kelly for their hard work with these boys all season.

Winter training is ongoing for all 2020 eligible U16 and minor boys. Any player involved in the current U13 squad should not attend. Two trainings per week will be held going forward on Monday and Thursday evenings. Monday evening trainings will be held outside on the training field from 7pm-8.15pm. Our Senior Men travelled to Donaghmore on Sunday (10th) afternoon to face Kildress in the latest round of the Division 2/3 Playoffs. Our men showed all the desire and urgency in a close contest that hung in the balance right up to the 60th minute, when Liam Hughes kicked the winning point. Final score: Killeeshil 0-13 Kildress 1-9. Our promotion drive moves onto the next stage now when we play Newtownstewart or Cookstown in the final game. Well done to the team and management on this gutsy win. Scores on the day were Pascal Donaghy 0-7, Micheal O’Neill 0-2, Liam Hughes 0-1, Peter Scullion 0-1, Tómas Hoy 0-1 & Ciaran O’Neill 0-1. The lads are training again on Friday night at 7.30 pm as they prepare for the final playoff game.

Thanks to the large number of people who came to the meeting about our new Youth Structures on Tuesday (12th) in the Community Centre. Kevin Hughes and Kevin Holland delivered an excellent presentation on how we can improve our youth structures going forward and if you missed the meeting and want to find out more about this exciting project, please contact one of them two men ASAP. We would like even more men/women to get involved because many hands make light work for all involved.

Anybody who ordered a Cairde Cill Íseal jacket, but has not yet collected it, please be advised they can be collected next Monday 18th November at 9pm from the back room in the Community Centre.

We will hold our AGM on Sunday the 8th December at 7.30 pm in the Community Centre. Anyone interested in our club, please attend the AGM to discuss all things Killeeshil GAA and to plan ahead and look forward to the coming season.
