Our U13 boys faced Coalisland at home last Sunday (3rd). Our lads put on a great display of effort and determination during a good tight first half of football with only a point separating the sides at half time . Our management team asked the lads to up their workrate and effort in the second half and our boys certainty did that! Going into the final 10 mins, we were 5 behind but the lads dug deep, chased every ball and hit some excellent scores to turn the game into a 1 point win . Fantastic group effort and great to get back to winning ways . Well done to the lads and their management team. This week, the lads are training on Thursday night from 7 till 8 pm with our next match away to Stewartstown, next Sunday (10th) at 11.30am. All support is much appreciated.

Winter training commenced on Monday (4th) for all 2020 eligible U16 and minor boys. Any player involved in the current U13 squad should not attend. Two trainings per week will be held going forward on Monday and Thursday evenings. Monday evening trainings will be held outside on the training field from 7pm-8.15pm. On Thursday evenings, circuit training will take place in the hall beginning on 7th November from 8pm-9pm. Please bring your own water bottle to both weekly sessions.

Our Senior Men hosted Brocagh in a Playoff match last Sunday (3rd). Our men fired over 18 pts as they impressively defeated Brocagh to remain in the race for promotion from Division 3. Final score was Killeeshil 0-18, Brocagh 0-7. Scores on the day came from Pascal Donaghy 0-7, Micheal O’Neill 0-5, Tómas Hoy 0-2, Aaron McKenna 0-2, Bernard O’Neill 0-1 and Liam Hughes 0-1. Well done to our men and their managers. Training continues this Tuesday and Friday nights at 7.30 pm. Our men are preparing for their next Playoff match this Sunday (10th) when we face Kildress in Donaghmore at 2pm. Please go to this game and cheer on our men!

Over this past few weeks, you will have seen the diggers in doing bit work around our training field as together with the Local Council, we are putting a walking track around the perimeter off our training field. We have to make it ready for them so we had to remove soil from one side to the other so that first phase has been completed. Thanks to Kevin McKenna our digger driver and all our dumper drivers Cathal Rafferty, Colm Quinn, Shane O’Neill, Plunkett Rafferty, Seamus O'Neill and Johnathan Cunningham. Thanks also to our Electricians, James McKenna and Sean-Paul McGuigan for the big effort put in by everybody.

Anybody who ordered a Cairde Cill Íseal jacket, but has not yet collected it, please be advised they can be collected next Monday 11th November at 9pm from the back room in the Community Centre.
