The Seniors Footballers beat Killyclogher on Sat past 1-09 to 1-08 for a well earned 2 points. There was no Reserves game. The next game is V Eglish at the Shore, Reserves 2.15pm and Seniors 3.45pm. Our U16s were beaten by Drumragh Sarsfields in the Championship Quarter Final on Sat past too bringing the season to an end. Maith sibh to the boys and Management for some great championship performances and finishing 3rd in the Grade 3A U-16 League. The U12.5 season finishes with the Gerard Quinn Cup now currently rescheduled for Sat 12th Oct 10am-1pm – TBC via WhatsApp/Social Media. Winter training for all Children in P4, P5, P6 & P7 as of September 2019 is each Sat at the Shore 10.30 - 11.30.

Ádh mór to our U16 Camogs who will meet Naomh Padraig in the semi-final game of the Anne Jordon Memorial Plate at the Shore at 7.30pm – all support welcome. Tir Eoghain GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee are organising their annual trip to Croke Park for senior gaels on Sat 26th October 2019.You will enjoy a full guided tour of the Stadium, a short film on the history of Croke Park and some of the great matches played there. This will be followed by lunch and then some time to enjoy the Croke Park Museum before making the journey home. Transport will be provided from Dungannon - Donnelly Motors, Moy Road departing 9.45am – please contact our Club Health and Wellbeing Officer Orlaith on 07880224045 asap if you are interested in attending.

To mark the clubs 75th anniversary and 100 years of Kevin Barry’s death there are a number of events being planned throughout the next year. On such event is the DKB New York/Philadelphia Trip July 2020. We are having an information night for the proposed New York/Philadelphia trip at the club rooms on Thurs 10th of Oct at 8.30pm. Initial plan is to fly on Fri 10th July and home Mon 20th July 2020. We will have 2 friendly games arranged, the first on Sun 12th July V New York at Gaelic Park in the Bronx and the second V Philadelphia Kevin Barry’s on Sat 18th July with a night out with the opposing teams after each game. All ages are welcome and we would like as many footballers as possible for the matches. Deepest Sympathy is extended to club supporter Ann Robinson on the death of her brother Patrick Mc Glinchey. Brother in-law of our former player and club chairman Brian and uncle of playing members Colm, Sean, Niall , Eimear, Aoife and Ciara. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
