Congratulations: to our friends and neighbours in the DHC.  Absolutely fantastic display of creativity and hard work.  Good luck to the judges finding a better kept village. Sincere thanks to all concerned we are privileged to benefit from your beautiful floral displays.

Culture: The club has planned another beginner and intermediate irish class in september. Register your interest today. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or [email protected]. Everyone welcome.

Supporters: The long awaited resumption of the Senior and Reserve ACFL came last weekend.  A questionably crazy couple of weeks is in prospect. The lads and management will need all the support they can get both on and off the field.  This comes along side a very busy spell for our U16 lads and ladies. So again we would encourage everyone to get their club colours on for all the upcoming games.  It would be especially nice to see the youngsters with the club flags out.

Training and Fixtures:

U16 lads: Good but contrasting wins for both U16 teams last week against Pomeroy (3A) and Eglish (1A). Next games: 1A play 2 games this week away to Kildress on Monday evening past (12th) then away again this time to Cookstown on Thurs 15th at 7:15pm. Two great games so get out and support the lads. 3A seem to have the week off. Coaching continues Sundays at 10:30am.

U6.5’s; U8/U10 Boys: Monday night coaching sessions continue every week at 6:30pm. U12 Lads: Coaching continues Mon 6:15 - 7:30pm and  Wed 6:15 - 7:30pm. Senior and Reserves: resumed the ACFL away to Carrickmore last Saturday. Contrasting fortunes as the Reserves were beaten while the Seniors had a good win.  A crazy week continues with a midweek game at home to Derrylaughan (Wed 14th at 6:30pm and 8pm) then next Saturday we host Ardboe at 2:15pm and 3:45pm.  Please keep an eye on social media for confirmation of results.

P2-P7 Ladies: Coaching continues Mondays at 6:30pm. U12 Ladies: Training continues on Sundays at 11:30am. Rd7 of the Go Games season is away to neighbours Galbally this Wed 14th Aug at 7pm. U16 Ladies: The league kicked off last Tues evening (6th) with a trip to neighbours Aodh Ruadh.  The next game is this Tues 13th home to Carrickmore at 7pm then home to St Macartans the following Tues (20th). Good luck girls. Training will now shift to the weekend (Sat 11am).   Senior Ladies: The senior ladies played their final league game last Friday evening and narrowly missed out on a league semi final spot.  So a good return to the top flight league. Well done girls and mgt. The focus now shifts to the Championship Quarter final V Cookstown which is scheduled for Sat 31st Aug at 5:30pm. (Venue TBC).

Thoughts and Prayers: The club asks that all players and members please take some time each week and spare a thought and prayer for those in the club and community dealing with sickness and bereavement.
