The u14 girls played Killeeshil last Thursday in the Quarter Final of the Championship. The girls put in a fantatsic shift during the opening 30 minutes and went in at half time 3 points up. However, a few quick goals at the start of the second half, saw Killeeshil pull in front and unfortunately for the young O'Rahilly girls, this was a lead that the girls couldn't turn around.
It's a big week in the club for our Minor Ladies who will play Errigal Ciaran in the final of the Minor Championship on Sunday at 12 noon with a venue still to be confirmed. In preparation for the final, the ladies will be hosting a coffee morning in the Community Centre on Saturday from 10-1pm. The u21s will host Kildress in the field on Monday at 730. The Senior Men continue their league campaign away to the Moy this Sunday. Throw in for the Reserves is at 2:15 with the Senior game at 3:45.
Go Games continue this Wednesday night at 6.30 for all u6, u8 and u10 boys and girls. The u6 boys and girls will be on the 3G pitch.
In conjunction with the Libraries NI Digital Literacy Project, there will be FREE iPad/Tablet Workshops in the Community Centre on Wednesday 12th and 19th June during the day. These workshops are designed to further peoples skills and knowledge so that they are confident in using both the iPad or laptop in their daily tasks. On Tuesday 11th June there will be an information evening to discuss Mental Health issues in our local area. This evening 'Helping to Fight Mental Health Locally in association with MYMY' will be held in Gervin's Bar at 730. Speakers on the evening will be Ray Cunningham and Tom Herron. Everyone is welcome.
