Clonoe O'Rahillys club notes

April 15, 2019

Last week lotto numbers were 3, 12, 18 and 20.  There were no jackpot winners.  Four matched three numbers;  Stevie McCourt, Aisling Magee,  Katie Joe (Shop Gortgonis) and Latliowa Donnelly (Central Bar).  Next week's jackpot is £3,525

The seniors continued their league campaign last Sunday with a home game against Errigal Ciaran.  In a keenly contested game throughout it looked like the Rahillys were on course to get the two points, but a late goal gave Errigal Ciaran victory on a scoreline of 1.07 to 0.09.

The reserves played last Sunday as well and hoped to continue their great start to the season.  In another competitive game throughout they came up just short by losing out by the narrowest of margins. The seniors and reserves are down to play Eglish this week.  Watch local press for details.

The minor boys played The Moy this week.  After a strong start by the young Rahillys they were unable to maintain as The Moy got the victory by two points.

The minor girls played Killeeshil this week, after a slow start they battled hard to get back in the game but they came up just short losing out by a few points.

Youth training is down for this Thursday night from half six.  This is due to the minors having a game this Wednesday night.

The Club are hosting a Big Breakfast fundraiser this Saturday 20th April from 9am to Midday.  This is a great opportunity to come along, enjoy good food and support your local club.

Easter Sunday night sees the Irish Rock band The Nooks take the stage in the Community Centre. Doors open at 8pm, this is sure to a fantastic nights entertainment.

Congratulations to Youth Officer Orlagh Rafferty on the birth of her baby daughter.

Sympathy is extended to the Harte family Coalisland and to the Quinn family Brocagh on their recent sad bereavements.
