The U21s were beaten by Clonoe O’Rahillys on Sat 2nd Feb past 2:17 to 0-06. The next game is V Moy at home on Sun 10th Feb at 2.30pm. U16/Minor Camogie training continues Mon at 7pm at the shore with indoor training Thurs at 7.15pm in St. Josephs College Coalisland – all new members welcome. The preseason winter programme for any other Football and Camogie be communicated in the first instance by Club WhatsApp Group Messages and then updated in the notes.

Cairde Caoimhin de Barra is open for membership Club Membership and Player Registrations are due by 31/03/18 - £20 Individual, £30 Couple, £10 Senior Citizen. Anyone interested in joining is asked to contact any committee member and see social media for further information.

The Washingbay Green Run (WGR ‘19) is on Sat 16th March at 10.30am - please visit the website http://wbaygreenrun.com and follow social media for further information on the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon routes. The Annual Spring Litter Lift in preparation for the Washingbay Green Run will take place on Saturday 9th March from 10.30 am. This is being organised by Muintir na Mointeach in conjunction with the club. To exceed the magnificent turn-out we had last year we are encouraging all residents, club members and supporters to give a couple of hours of their time to improve the environs of our local club and community. Bags and litter pickers will be provided.

Also in preparation for the WGR and as part of The GAAs ‘Ireland Lights Up’ initiative, Healthy Ireland and Get Ireland Walking (GIW) the club floodlights shall again be turned on each Monday and Thursday 7-9pm. Come enjoy a healthy walk in the safe, bright, environs of your local GAA club, catch up with your neighbours and prepare for the Washingbay Green Run 2019. Sean Robinson Health and Fitness is also running a Couch to 5K for all ages and fitness levels in association with the WGR ’19 *Free of charge* each Sat at 10.30am at the clubrooms.

February is Heart and Stroke Awareness Month as part of our Health & Well Being concern we will be hosting Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke on 20th Feb in the Clubrooms 7.30-8.30pm to deliver a talk about a healthy heart and exercise. Everyone welcome and bring a friend! They are also offering health checks on Sat 23rd Feb: 20mins @ £25 and 30mins @ £35 – please see Social Media for further information and contact Orlaith on +447880224045 to book.

A meeting of the Coalisland Canal Group will be held in the Coalisland Development Association offices Tues 5th Feb at 8pm. All past members are requested to attend along with any prospective new members. We need to hear your thoughts and opinions regarding the future of the Canal. Please come along.
