Donaghmore club notes

 Due to the untimely passing of our dear friend, past player & coach, Dalglish Heatherington, all club activities have been cancelled this week. The clubs annual dinner dance is also postponed until further notice. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dalglish's large circle of family and friends.

 

 

 

 

Donaghmore GAA Annual Dinner Dance: Saturday 26th January, 7.30PM in Greenvale Hotel, Cookstown. We will be celebrating our success both on & off the field, with our Senior Ladies securing a Senior League and Championship double.  The evening will have a drinks reception, 4-course meal, Live entertainment by Infinity and our awards ceremony. A night not to be missed!

Final few tickets available at Torrent Complex reception. (£30 each).

Senior men: Embark on another season with support from the club and community.  Best of luck to the management and hardworking players. Minor Lads: Training is underway Sunday at 11am and wednesday at 7pm; again the club wishes management and hard working players every success in the season ahead. U8/U10 Boys: Indoor football sessions in Convent Sports Hall start on Thursday 7th Feb.   U8s are from 6:30-7:30pm and U10s are 7:30-8:30pm. Wee Pats (Nursery - P3)  starts 22nd Feb 6:30pm for 5 weeks on the Torrent Complex Sports Hall.  Wee Pats is fun games for boys and girls. We always need parent helpers for the stations, so please help out if you can.  Each session costs £1

Senior Ladies: Bid to emulate last years success gets underway this week. Again club and community best wishes go out to all the hardworking management and players for the season ahead.  Minor Ladies: Training continues Tues and Thursday 5.45-7pm.  All support welcome.U14 Ladies: Training continues Tues 7:15-8:30 pm in Convent Sports Hall. P2-P7 Ladies: Winter programme continues Tues 22nd Jan 6-7pm in Convent Sports Hall. 

New faces always welcome, both players and parents.  Just drop in to any of the training sessions above and speak to one of the coaches or committee members.

 

Membership fees for the 2019 season are now due. Please visit www.donaghmoregaa.ie/club-membership/ for full details. Registration night is Friday 22nd Feb 2019. Annual fees for members of both Men’s & Ladies clubs: Adult £30 (OAP £15); Adult Couple £50 (OAP £25); u8-u18 & Student* £20 each; u6 Boys & Girls - No Fee. Just come and register your child as a member.

 

Club Donaghmore: Club Donaghmore is a monthly-subscription of £12.50 (£150 per year) which goes directly to the running of the club (facility improvement, utility bills, travel costs for teams). This subscription includes automatic membership for you, your spouse, and any of your children under the age of 18. All Club Donaghmore members are also entered into a monthly prize draw for £150 first prize and £50 second prize.
