Tyrone midfielder Padraig McNulty has opted off the panel for the 2019 campaign.

The reason for McNulty’s decision is that he needs an operation on his troublesome back injury which has caused him problems for some time.

The recuperation period following the operation will take up most of the summer by which time, the GAA inter-county season will be drawing to a close.

McNulty has been part of the panel since 2015 and it is expected that he will return to the set-up once again in 2020.
