Clogher GFC club notes

August 13, 2018

Lotto 4. 6.10. 17. No winner £10 to Eve McKenna 37 Tullybroom Road, Kathleen Meehan Tempo, John Mc Gurk Rock, Paul McCaughey Fintona Road, Pat and Teresa Mc Connell Tullybroom. Next week £2100 in Mellons bar.

What an historic week for An Clochar Eire Ogs. On Saturday past, the seniors won the Divison 3 League amid great scenes at St PatrIcks Park with a victory over Glenelly.  Niall McKenna handed over the trophy to Clogher Captain Mark Bogue, 33 years ago Niall's father Tony McKenna (Ar Dheis Dé) awarded the League winners cup to then captain Kevin McConnell. We want to thank everyone in the club who helped make this happen, not just the players or management but everyone who contributed in any way to the club over the past months. We now turn our attention to the Championship and this Friday evening the Seniors take on Drumquin in the first round. Throw in at 7pm in Fintona. Let's get out to support the lads in the same way we did last Saturday.

We are delighted to launch our annual 10K and 5K road race which takes place on Wednesday 22 August at 7.30pm. This year we have chipped timing, cash prizes and unrivalled hospitality so you can be sure it is going to be a brilliant evening.
