Senior Men;

Our senior men were defeated by Gortin away from home on Sunday, the final score was 0-12 to 1-7, Martin Mongan scored the Strabane goal with Warner Mullen top scoring with six points and Danny McBride also grabbed a point, Sigersons shot stopper James O'Reilly saved a penalty on the stroke of half time also.

Our Reserve men were also defeated on Sunday away to Gortin on a score line of 2-13 to 2-11, Tom McDermott top scored with 1-5 and Marc Devine scored 1-1.

 

On Sunday our Senior and Reserve men will face Urney at home, times for this game are to be confirmed. All support is much appreciated.

 

Best Wishes;

On behalf of everyone at Strabane Sigersons GAA we would like to offer our thoughts and prayers and best wishes to our Under 10 girls player Ellen McGuigan, Ellen is now recovering in Altnagelvin Hospital.

Ellen's Mum, Trudy and Dad, Patrick have asked us to sincerely thank everyone who has text and sent their best wishes. It's been great for the family to know that so many people are thinking about them and praying for Ellen and her family. Please keep praying to ensure that Ellen makes a full recovery.

Youth;

Good luck to our minor boys who travel to Donaghmore on Friday night for the Preliminary round of the Grade 2 Championship, throw in is at 7.30pm.

 

Strabane Sigersons GAA will have a free open training session for all boys and girls in classes from Nursery to P4 on Tuesday from 7-8pm.

All boys and girls in the Strabane area are invited to come along and join a fun filled training session with our regular Sigersons players at our Páirc Mhic Sioghair in the Ballycolman.

No previous playing experience is necessary so why not bring your son, daughter, neice, nephew, grandson or granddaughter to our training to learn a few new skills, get active and make a few new friends

 

Club Tyrone Summer Camp

Strabane Sigersons GAA will once again host a four-day Tyrone GAA Summer Camp from 9th -12th July.

Health and Wellbeing;

On Wednesday 13th June at 7pm there will be a Men's walk named 'A bit of banter around the bridges', all males are very welcome to attend. The meeting point is at Melvin Sports complex at 6.45pm. The event is to support men's health week and we would encourage as many of our male members as possible to attend.

 

Sympathies;

The club extends its deepest sympathies to the friends and family of Mary O'Kane, Bradley Way who is the Grandmother of club secretary Sean Dudgeon and Senior player Eamon Dudgeon, sympathies are also offered to Sister Lucy Gillespie, Convent of Mercy, Newtownkennedy Street and James McCafferty, Derry who was the uncle of club chairman Liam Sweeney.
